Hi mate,

I'm a newcomer to this forum, and despite registering a few days ago ( well beyond the 48 hour waiting period ), I still find that I'm precluded from posting or making any contributions to debates. I sent the admin a pm complaining about this, but he hasn't yet responded. I've also emailed one of the moderaters to request that they enable my posting right, only to be told that they're "too busy" ....

I think I know what your problem is. When you register you submit an email. After you complete the registeration an email is sent to the email you submitted. To activate your account, meaning to be able to post, you have to open that email and click on the link provided to activate your account.

Now I believe but I could be wrong there is time window you must get this done like 48 or 72 hours. After which if you haven't activated your account, you can't post. For all practical purposes the Admin is inaccessible, hoping him or the Mod to help you is a lost cost. I suggest you re-register slightly modifying your username of course and give them different email everything else you can keep as is.

I don't think it's the email verification thing that's the problem because I distinctly recall activating my account when I initially registered. hmmmmm....tricky one this......
