Human Rights

[Lord Diplock]

What are they? do you strongly believe in them? and do you believe your country (or the country you live respect human rights)?

For me, Human Rights is the most important rights. And these include things like: the right not to be summary executed or tortured arbitrary detention and lack of access to independent courts, freedom of speech etc.

I believe strongly in Human Rights and abhor those disgraceful state that infringe them, the usual suspect: China, North Korea

Kenya's HR record has improved since the end of one party system and advent of democracy. The British gov't has probably the best human rights record in relation to its own citizen vis-à-vis other big industrialized countries.

I agree with you the importance of human rights.
It may be true that U.K. has the best record of human rights.
In general, I believe that these rights are unnecessarily undermined after Sep.2001 by the powerful countries.
In my opinion, a war against terrorists is essential, but I don’t agree all what they did or do.
