Both are evil act also haram and I am not belittling the dirkings of alcohol just a discussion cuz some people assume smoking is not haram or that it is not as bad or worse as drinking Exclamation

Makroh means disliked, like sleeping on your stomach it is disliked by Allah but it is not Haram that is why it is called makroh or like Eating /drinking while standing.. Makroom is if a person who does not do it out of obedience to Allah they will be rewarded xasanaat, but the one who does it will not be punished or get sayiaat..

Cigarettes kills there for not makrooh!

I agree with you, I hate cigerettes and they do kill only the person who inhales them, they are gambling with their own lives. There are many other lifestyle things that Muslims do and kill such as food and obessity. Are they all xaraam, or worse than the demons of alcohol. The latter is explicitly banned by Allah SWT.

What do you think of this enviromental crime, killing the future of Somali children? The perpetrators are worse than smokers.

I know that a drunk would have intercourse with his mum not knowing what he is doing!!!

What would a cigaratte smoker would do???
Nothing apart just enjoying himself (for girls that is no a go area).

Personally i have never smoked but come on???????

BTW...If smoking can kill so can eating too much fatty foods rich in cholesterol....and I dont see anyone saying food(Hilib for ex.) is xaraam.

people eat food when they are hungry. food only gives harms those who eat all the time irrespective of wether they are hungry or not.

Ciggarete on the other hand harms one wether it is used in moderation or chain smoked. How can the two be teh same???

Also there was a ahdeeth regard Cumar ibn Al khatab (RadAllahucanhu) once he was sitting with a man and the ate together and after they finishes he told his companions to not bring that men again they said why he said he eat to much, eating too much is a sing of hypocrisy!

The law26 is right. If you are comparing smoking to drinking then there is a big problem.

Walaal let me ask you something, do you consider everything that contains alcohol to be xaraam for example drinks, Food like stakes some kaafirs make their meat with wine or cake ect , chocolates ect ect..?

I mean after All Allah has orderd us not go near Alcohol?
