My little NEPHEW CRIED to have da SOMALI FLAG on his wall
its amazing that my little nephew who practically knows nothing about somalia have been crying yesterday, the whole day, to have the somali flag stuck on his wall.. the kid was born in California, age 6 years, never been to Somalia but was told that his parents, uncles and grandies are from Somalia.. after hearing a story we were telling the other day, he decided to put the somali flag on his wall instead of the American flag.. I bought the flag yesterday afternoon and we brought it for him, you cannot imagine the happniness on his face.. he just embraced as he's never done before.. it was amazing to see this Somali/American kid devoting himself for the somali flag... it was emotional time

Nationalism and patriotism aren't concepts which I care for. What's all this buisness about purchasing U.S. and Somali flags? Nationalism is as Che Guevara once put it "an imaginary delusion". It sets the workers of the world against one another, and leads them to believe that they are superior to one another, and that their neighbours across the border are the problem, or in extreme cases: the enemy.
What we should aspire to isn't the potentially destructive and injurious notion of nationalism, but rather the more superior and admirable concept advocated by Marx : internationalism.
As Marx rightly said, "Workers of all countries: Unite!"
