Kamal Somalilight is upset because 15,000 cuban troops
Kicked our asses in 1978.
They with the help of a russian airborne troops puslled off the first
armoured aerial envelopment in millitary history.
While the Somalis were dug in near the Gara marda pass, they sneaked thier light tanks and IFV's behind them and wham.

Long live the Cuban Revolution. Long live comrade Fidel Castro... Cuban internationalists have done so much for African independence, freedom, and justice. We admire the sacrifices of the Cuban people in maintaining their independence and sovereignty in the face of a vicious imperialist campaign designed to destroy the advances of the Cuban revolution. We too want to control our destiny... There can be no surrender. It is a case of freedom or death. The Cuban revolution has been a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving peopl

Yeah, fagash killer, but the legend is little by little ending cause the times they're a-changing and now revolutions don't have that aura of romantic fight.
A friend of mine, a real communist supporter, decided to go to Cuba to spend a whole year there trying to learn how the country works and all that. He was an strong supporter of Fidel Castro before the travel. When he was there, he discovered the poverty of the country, the corruption of the institutions, the endless bureocracy, the police control over political thought, the undercover prostitution, the need of the people to be free.
It's true that the revolution had a good start and it was great from the point of view of education, opportunities to the people and jobs. But it was only in the beggining. People there have a great access to schools and universities, but when you read in a History book there, in Cuba, that Che Guevara is not Che Guevara, but 'Our hero fighter', and Fidel Castro is 'The Father of the Motherland', and all the history is a lie, you start to disagree with the regime.
My friend came back to Spain one year later absolutely disappointed and disgusted with Fidel Castro and the revolution machine. He says now that Cuba is one of the most corrupted countries all around the world. He still hates the Miami exile. But he says that Castro is not what he was expecting of him.

Cuz he kicked DAROOD asses and we LOVE him for that. Got a problem with that?
THE OGADEN DEFEAT HAD MORE TO DO WITH BETRAYAL THAN AFWAYNE'S FAILED EFFORTS.
No no, WE HAD THE INITIATIVE -- effertlessly rolled over the xabashi army, and for all practical reasons could've went all the way had the Daroods possessed the strategic foresight... but they didn't. How could they, they're daroods for pete's sake... 15000 or so airlifted cuban mercaniers kicked our asses. Had it been Hawiyes in charge, they'd prolly have lost as well but at least they would've come back home with war booty from bililiqo. Daroods instead came home with their tails firmly between their legs and bring us defeat, shame and loss.
Daroods. What are they good for? Absolutely NOTHING!

Is this animosity toward El-Comandente-en jefe (commander-in chief )I see? Oh dear, oh dear.
Fidel since the 1959 Cuban revolution has acted as a beacon of resistence against U.S. imperialism in Latin America and the wider world. Following the revolution in which he and a small band of guerrila fighters overthrew the U.S. backed Fulgencio Batista, Catro expropriated land from the rich including American multinational companies and gave it to the poor peasants. Now Cuba boasts one of the best and efficient health services in the world. Health services in Cuba are completely free and isn't dependent on the size of one's wallet as it is in the U.S. . Literacy is now 100% in Cuba following the Cuban revolution. And today Cuba has a higher ratio of docters than any other country. These are the achievements of the Cuban revolution!
further, Castro has supported many revolutionary groups fighting for self-determination and independence in Latin America (most notably that of the Left-wing Sadinista government in Nicaragua) and Africa.
Why is Castro such an admirable figure? In short, because he's a champion of the poor against the rich, and the oppressed against the oppressers.
Castro ought to be commended and applauded for being the revolutionary leader he is. Hasta la victoria seimpre!

I'm not usually one to resort to ad hominem, but someone (preferably a girl) really ought to give you a slap for ridiculing our revolutionary hero and commander-in-chief! You're ridiculous! That news brought tears to my eyes when I heard it (I wasn't aware there existed footage of it, nor do I want to see it).
Get out of here you incredibly stupid and immature woman! What's so “hilarious" about an ageing man falling off something? You're idiocy and foolishness I see knows no bounds. Oh dear oh dear, I really am disappointed in you my dear girl.
