You have two choices in life. You can stay single and be miserable, or get married and wish you were dead.

No we don't. We can:
1. Marry and be miserable
2. Marry and be happy
3. stay single and be happy
4. stay single and be miserable
5. common law
6. celibacy
THose are just few I can recall top of my head for now. Sorry if I ruin your thread.
I choose marriage. Gotta run

I would rather be married and hope I was dead than stay single and miserable all the time atleast I would get laid all the time and that for me all I want from a woman.

I rather be single. I can handle misery-- but cannot handle death. How morbidly depressing. A single person--has the benefit of sleepig alone, being selfish, having limitless alone time, go out with friends, eat out all the time, live a life of pure narcisistic, hedonistic lifestyle!!! Aaaahhh how lucky they are!!!

I don't believe in neither, so where on earth does that leave me?
I'm more inclined to cohabitation. That way if it doesn't work out, both partners can walk away from the failed relationship without the stigma of being branded "divorced". Often people find themselves having to explain to their new found boyfriend/girlfriend that they were married once before; and we all know that folks start speculating (though not always openly) as to what it might have been that drove their former spouse away, insinuating that they must have been the cause of the split, or that there must be something fundamentally flawed in the person's character.
It's even more difficult I imagine for women to find a partner who is willing to give a marriage a go once they've admitted to have been married once before.
Am I right? I'll put it out there ,because I really don't know. I'm only speculating.
I'm just a 17 year old fellow, what would I know...huh? All the same, I'm quite happy as I am with my lovely girlfriend.

Marriage in most occassions aren't as pleasant as you assume. It definitely has it shares of up's and down's. however, being single on the other hand signifies freeman. Enjoy it while it lasts.

That is a negative thought coming from western countries who lack ethics, moral and religion so in the end they always end up miserable. But why we as a muslims should think the same way? Marriage is a wonderful thing and best thing that a man can find from this duniya is a good wife, just like Xabibinaa Muhammad (saws) said.
So why do you think that marriage makes you wish you were dead?
