I did read the article. It said Iranian military didn't disclose the missiles range, so we don't know WHO it can reach. Also, they claim it was sucessful test, NOT evasion of radar/s. Only after they employ against the US, Isreal and other nations with advanced missile radars can we know one way or another whether if what they claim is true or boasting.

BTW, no ONE (not even the US), has BILLISTIC (that is what the Iranian media dubbed the missle) missiles that can evade radars! The only tested undetectable missiles are cruise missiles, reason being they fly extremely close to the ground -- impossible for radars to pick 'em out.

Dhuuso, I think what they meant is not the radar itself but anti-misslie batteries. It is a matter of physics. maybe it carries onboard radar which will detect and calculate the velocity and direction of those batteries, then reprogram itself to do some evasion maneuvers. I am sure Iran would lose big time if they pick a fight with the US. Iran can't reach USA but the US can destroy Iran only with few weeks of air bombardment. The worst case scenario for the US is a few months of limited oil supply if the whole region goes in flames.

Every superpower will one day have significance only in text books but America will dominate the word for some very long time to come.

because of its range and multiple targets it would be immune to older anti-ballistic missle systems like the famous patriot or the isreali arrow-1.

unfortunatley i dont believe it is capable of ducking new generation of anti-ballistic misiles systems lke the arrow-2 or the /russian s-300.

either way its a sign of the gradual development of Irans missle program,
and it reveals that secret cooperation between it and North Korea and Russia is still ongoing.
