you see i pray but never seem to manage to pray for a whole week straight. keep falling off the the prayer wagon. i pray morning, duhuur..miss casaar and maqrib then make up those i missed in cisha...
then the next day, i miss morning and duhuur and pray maqrib and cisha and dont bother with the ones i miss...
then the nex day i pray for the whole 5 prayers, then the folowing day go back to missing the wagon...and so on and on.
but i never fail to read my ayaat al kursi morning noon and night for the past 20 somthing years.

Gacalisa,
When you die, your brain dies. In fact, every cell in your body dies. Our brain is what allows us to experience and make sense of our surroundings. Our creativity, personality, intellect, fears and hopes are ALL the product of our brains. To test this, all you need to do is take mind altering drugs and see the instantaneous personality change/s. Permenant brain damages from accidents for example are KNOWN to cause complete personality changes. The person after the accident is NOT the same person before... with completely different attitude, intellect and memories. Without it, the brain that is, we can't experience anything. So, knowing this, why would you think you'll experience ANYTHING after you die? Be it hell or heaven, notwithstanding the fact there is no evidence either exist. Is it your contention that our dead corpes are vivified after interment? If so, could you provide evidence for it. The evidence available shows our flesh becomes food for other organisms leaving behind our bones.

I wanna dance with my baby
And when the music starts
I never wanna stop
It's gonna drive me crazy
Music makes the people come together
Music makes the bourgeoisie and the rebels come together
Don't think of yesterday and don't look at the clock
Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music Music
Woooooooow! Gacalisa
We all like SONGS and MUSIC.
We all enjoy ^ ^ ^
Ask this to your Sheikha SoMaLiSiSz:
Would she buy a Qur'an CD/DVD ricited by an old man with ugly voice?

And DD
through out your little speech, you have not mentioned the soul or the imaan a person has. Yes we have a brain that gives us the choice to make choices, but without our souls, and without having an Imaan(which you lack), then there is no point in having a brain.
Brain is the most important part of the human body, but without the heart which gives you faith, imaan, and the soul which is the thing that is actually tested after you death, the brain would be useless.
to have a whole you have to have halves, which is brain, the soul, and the heart. one cant function properly without the other.
Gacalisa,
My dictionary defines the word “heart†like this : “a hollow muscular organ of vertebrate animals that by its rhythmic contraction acts as a force pump maintaining the circulation of the bloodâ€Â
It has nothing to do with your faith. (No brain cells in it
)
You are learning new jargons: haram, halal, jahiliya etc. Maasha Alaah!
Did you most recently read the Haddith “Attaqwatu haa’hunaa … … …â€Â.?
So "Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart."
