I know some Somalis were released some time ago.. I think they were Swedish citizens.

Anyway, I think those two Somalis were released!!! Some of the ppl on that list have been released.

I had a cousin who disappeared after he went to Afghanistan in the first war against the Sovjet union. he never came back..

Who cares? They can fry with the rest of the bad apples. Another thing who is this Barre guy? Is he related to Siyaad Barre? If so, he probably needs to be in there.
Now only if they could round up anybody that shares blood with Caydiid and lock them up too.

Somali or not I believe anybody who tries to bring harm(and by bring harm I mean kill) to anyone else on account of relegion or anything else is an idiot and doesn't deserve to be alive.

The ones who are responsible for this imprisonment of muslims are the biggest killers this day in the world no matter where you look from, islamic or humane perspective.

And most of the prisoners in GITMO are innocent. Some of them are there only because in their wrist they had an ordinary casio watch similar to "watch used by al qaida." That's key evidence against some of them.
The fact that there has been only 10 charges during these years also tells something about the situation.
