All praise is for Allah. We praise Him, seek help from Him and ask for His forgiveness. We turn to Him alone in repentance. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide. Equally he the o­ne that Allah misguides, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god or deity worthy of any type of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammed is the true slave and messenger of Allah (SW), may the Salah of Allah be upon him.

O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. (Al ‘Imran 3:102)

O mankind! Fear your Rabb who created you from a single soul and created from it its mate, and from these two He spread about many men and women; and Fear Allah, through whom you demand your mutual (rights). Be in fear of cutting the ties of Kinship. Surely Allah is ever a Watcher over you. (Al-Nisa’ 4:1)

O you who believe! Fear Allah and always speak the truth. He will make your deeds righteous and will forgive you your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has truly succeeded in a great way. (Al-Ahzab 33:70-71)

Amma Ba‘du

I advise you to have Taqwa Allah, for with Taqwa Allah a person my reach the level of the righteous and save himself from destruction and those who call to evil.

O Muslims!

A man stood o­n a branch of a tall and expansive tree. He began to saw off the branch that he was standing o­n. Instead of sawing the tip of the branch, he was sawing the branch at the place that it was attached to the tree. This put him directly in danger of falling. Yet, whenever someone tried to instruct and warn him that by cutting the branch at that location he was harming himself, he would not allow him or her to speak or take their advice.

This is a direct example of the situation that the Muslim woman is in today when she follows the unknown theories (destructive Western arguments) that are being perpetrated. She never asks herself why she is willing to follow these ideas. Not knowing that these ideas are what have taken away her personality and change her perception of reality. She becomes like a ball that is batted around with no control of her own. She becomes completely immersed in these illicit arguments that possess her completely. The o­nly way of saving herself is by isolating herself from those destructive opinions, and by turning to her trusted and verified Sharee‘ah.

Her Fitra (natural inclination to believe in Allah and do good while abandoning evil) protects the Muslim woman of this era, from dissolving into evil. Even though she is in an ominous predicament.

This quickly changes o­nce she becomes introduced to the wickedness of Western ideology and concepts. She quickly begins to sink into a void of restlessness and misguidance.

The Muslim woman may become so infatuated with their Western culture and practice, that she begins to abhor her own culture and dress. She becomes fixated o­n trying to appear and act like her “role models” of corruption. This is something that Western companies and factories are more than willing to capitalize o­n

O Muslims!
It is as if our homes and families are being pulled from under our feet when we see the extent of the trials that our daughters are facing. We become frightened and try to advise as to what is correct. Yet our admonitions fall o­n deaf ears or the wind carries them before they reach our daughters hearts.

In modern history, much emphasis and research is undertaken to discuss and learn about the woman. To discuss the present, o­ne must also clarify and consider the past.
The Woman in the Pre-Islamic era
The o­ne who looks at the condition of women before Islam shall not be pleased. The history of the women in pre-Islamic time was varied. At o­ne end of the spectrum, the Queen of Sheba, a woman ruled the land.
“I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given all things that could be possessed by any ruler of the earth, and she has a great throne.” An-Naml 27:23
While at the other end of the spectrum, a girl child would be buried alive for the sole reason of being female.

“And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. For what sin she was killed.”
At-Takwir 81:7,8

The woman in the pre-Islamic era, was an insignificant being that was abused in the family and societal structure. Whether old or young, she was a slave of the male dominant hierarchy. If she asks for something she is unanswered. If she is called she must attend and service any need that may be asked of her. The day she was born, her father’s face became darkened and was give tidings of hardship and sorrow for the birth of his female child. Most of the female infants were buried alive, so that the father would be rid of the shame.

The greatest defamation was the fact that the woman was nothing more than a place for the man to relieve his desire. She had no other reason of existence for the men at that time. The woman pre-Islam was cursed, defamed, sold, and buried alive.

Ibn Abbass (ra) said: “If you would like to know about the pre-Islamic Arabs, read,
‘Indeed lost are they who have killed their children, from folly, without knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allah has provided for them, inventing a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and were not guided.’” Al-An‘am 6:140

In the midst of this ignorant population a ray of light and truth dawned o­n all humanity.
Islam gave Honor to the Woman

For the first time in human history justice rings out.

“The believers, men and women, are Auliya (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of o­ne another.” At-Taubah 9:71

“And they (women) have rights (over their husbands) similar (to those of their husbands) over them to what is reasonable.” Al-Baqarah 2:228

Rasool-ul-Allah (saaw) said:
“Be good in your treatment of women.”

As such, Islam was the pivotal point in changing the condition of women. Islam gave the woman a role in all aspects of society. Suddenly, the woman had the ability to be a giver of advice and answer questions in varying matters. Islam order children to elevate the mother above the father in honor and reverence. Islam honored the woman as a wife, daughter, and sister as well as mother.

O Muslims!

Islam put forward an easy system for the woman to follow. If she conforms to it she shall be given strength and salvation. o­n the other hand, if she abandons it, she shall be unguided and lost.

Islamic Guidelines given to Women

Islam calls to Hijab and remaining in the home as much as possible. It calls to the abandoning of the places that will cause mixing between the sexes. In this manner o­nly the deserving shall be granted the right to see the treasure that is the Muslim woman.

Free mixing and intermingling between the sexes is seen as a great danger. The enemies of Islam know the importance of Hijab and the value of remaining at home, in the nurturing of true Islamic behaviour in the Muslim woman. They therefore, vehemently attack Hijab. They label it as oppressive o­ne time and then they say that it is uncivilized another time. They try to entice the Muslim woman to leave her home, whether for a reason or not. They do this not out of love or respect for the Muslim woman, but because they hate Islam and us. They wish to see our demise and downfall.

“Lo! You are the o­nes who love them but they love you not.” Ali-‘Imran 3:119
Only the o­ne with Islamic intuition and direction can see the pattern of Zionist influence and behaviour upon the many nations and people. They are morally, religiously, and ethically destroying society after society.

Muslim women’s identity has been under attack as a way of destroying her self-image. The Jews have shown their determination in trying to destroy Hijab. This habit is not new. During the life of Rasool-ul-Allah (saaw) a group of Jews uncovered a Muslim woman in the market place of Bani Qainuq‘a. To this day their intentions and habits are the same, they intend the defamation of our Muslim woman. They know that destroy the woman equals destroying the society that she is a part of.

Saddening indeed is the situation of the Muslim women who have relented to the calls of those who are our clear enemies. Many have been brainwashed into believing the words of the disbelievers. Some have accepted the concepts and ideology of the disbelievers in their hearts while their tongues profess Islam. They strive to remove Hijab from our woman while calling to so-called “Islamic Feminism.” Surely they attract those who hate what Allah has revealed, the worshippers of woman and lust.

O Muslims!

Our daughters are the sweetest fruit of our loins. They are the fragrance or our lives. We must protect our harvest from the devastating winds of immorality and degradation that magazines and the media have spread.
They are calling the Muslim women to bury themselves alive. They want her to bury herself in dishonor and lack of chastity instead of dirt and sand. For what is life without honor, chastity, and purity?

I here, o­n this Minbar (In Makkah) contend that this form of burying o­nes honor, chastity is by far worst than being buried alive at a young age (Infanticide). You may ask how is this so? The Prophet of Allah (saaw) said:
“The Child that is buried alive is in Jannah.”
On the other hand, he (saaw) says describing the women of immorality:

“They are clothed, yet unclothed (clothing is see-through, tight fitting, and revealing). They sway and attract men to them and are attracted by them (men). Their heads will be hanging o­n a side like humps of fast camels. They will neither enter paradise nor will they even smell its fragrance.” Sahih Muslim

O Muslim Woman!
Hear and understand so that you are not deceived.

The door to correcting yourself is open wide. Its key is in your hand. It is true that the man is usually the o­ne who takes the first step in sin, but without your consent nothing will happen. You left a door open that allowed him into your vicinity, and gave him control. It is like allowing a known thief into your home and when he steals you plead for someone to save you and your property. Therefore recognize that the wolf o­nly seeks the meat of the lamb. Your honor is greater to you than the life of the lamb to itself. Your deed will never be forgotten by society if it becomes exposed, while the man will be forgiven and proclaim his newfound faith. You and your family will be the o­nes to carry the mistake for the rest of your lives.

Know that no matter how rich, powerful, successful, educated you are, marriage is always an aspiration that you will wish to fulfill. The unchaste, immoral woman will always be deemed unfit for marriage, even by the o­nes she had known in sin.

Therefore O Muslim Woman! Do not believe the lies of those who call to free-mixing and immoral behaviour under the banner of freedom and civilized behaviour. This is my advice to you. It is the irrefutable Truth. With you and o­nly you are the keys to goodness and correct Islamic behaviour.

“And stay in your homes, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform Salah and give Zakat (alms giving) and obey Allah and His Messenger.” Al-Ahzab 33:33

I ask Allah to Forgive you and I and the rest of the Muslim Ummah. Surely, Allah is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (screen themselves). That will be better, that they should be know (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Al-Ahzab 33:59
