walal, why are you are soo mean to this girl?. Somalizz is just a little uneducated in islam, this has alot to do with where she lives and what kind of Islam is being feed to her. I think it is nice that she is devoted, but maybe she should read more and teach herself the faith. I don't think it is nice that you guyz call her names though.

with that, i do admit she herself is rude and disregards the fact that is she is overly wrong most times.

But lets not call people mean names. If you wanna make post teaching her islam, do so. But don't be mean walal.

I don't believe in personally attacking people. I think Somalizz is an impressionable young lady, she has good intentions sometimes. But even an educated muslim such as yourself must admit that it easy for anyone to be deluded by people's sayings and cultural nonesense. She is product of her surrounding, you can't blame her.

I Don't aggree with alot of somalizz's beliefs but you will never find me personally attacking her. I usaully correct her sarcastly unlike half the these so called muslims here. I think alot of people on this site are bullies when they themselves probably know less than Somalizz.

Somalilight, your caution and gentility in this thread serves a lesson for others.

Somaliziz is sincere and humble woman, two characteristics absent in her critics. She knows she is not perfect which is very good quality as well. I wish her the best of luck.

As for cultural influence and confusing religion with culture, many of us are victims of it. Knowledge is the key to separate between the two so that one is left with an accurate understanding of what is islamically sanctioned and what is not. Hope that addressed what you were getting at.

I am not proud of it or justify it but it is genetic. If we aren't fighting or attacking each other, there is something wrong with us. Even a normal conversation at dinner tables at work draws the terrified looks of others who are sitting at close proximity.

I am quiet person naturally but I do relate to Somalis even in my quiet world Very Happy
