I have heard that in Europe, women pee whilst standing!!!.. in America they just sit....

Somalimen also sit when peeing.. did u know that?....
I used to sit peeing when i was a kid... because we thought that it is unislamic to pee whilst standing!!!!.... I feel comfortable tho peeing whilst standing

it is for men as well, this is from islam,beucase it will get all over them and islam is about tahara [cleaness]! there is a known hadeeth regard this someone who was punished in the Grave after they have past away and Prophet Mohamed Peace and mercy be upon him said it was because they use to Urinate while Stranding !

‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “Whoever tells you that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to urinate standing up, do not believe him. He only ever used to urinate sitting down.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Tahaarah, 12; he said, this is the most saheeh report on this topic. It was also classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 11).

And because this is more concealing, and it reduces the risk of any drops of urine splashing up onto him.
