our neighbour back in hargeisay was marexaan, but we kicked them out.

I said "come from" as in having degaans or cities, not live in you can almost find every tribe in all the major Somali cities.

Marexaan are mainly from jubbaland......

Horta, how come we own most land in east africa, we own northern kenya aka NFD (Ogaaden, Mareexaan and Minority)....Jubbaland (Mareexaan) Gulguduud (Mareexaan), Puntland (Harti/leelkasi), Ogaadenia (Ogaadeen, Harti, Mareexaan with exception of minority Dir including Issaqs) Half of somaliland (Dhulbahante/Warsengali).
