Mate, Phillips barely played this season so Im not really surprised Lennon was chosen above him cuz he's been playing regularly and performed good.

But I dont understand the selection of Walcott either Confused

Im surprised Jermain Defoe aint in there.

I told u about Lennon!!..............its simple inorder to get into the squad u have 2 play regulary!!......wright phillips has not done that and he deserves it. had he stayed at MAN CITY........he would ave walked into the team!!

But Phillips has scored goal's at the highest level and made assist's. How the fock is he going to use him throughout the qualifiers and then not put him in the World Cup squad?????

Phillips was man of the match in the last England game and he only played 15 minutes.

Taking an injured Rooney and Owen but leaving Defoe on standby and Bent is not even mentioned????????

So what Phillips ain't playing for Chelsea, I'd love to see Lennon try and get into the Chelsea squad let alone the first team.

Sitting on Chelsea's bench requires more talent than starting for Tottenham walahi.

The Wright-Phillips vs Lennon is quite obvious man. Phillips is the better player of the two, but Lennon is in form and done well.

You cant st on the bench in Chelsea and expected to be selected for the world cup. But fuck that..

I RECKON THE SQUAD IS PRETTY GOOD, APART FROM HARGREVES WHO ONLY THERE BECAUSE OF HIS KNOWLEDGE OF GERMANY. PLUS KING MISSING OUT IS A DISCRACE, COS MEN LIKE JENAS ARE THERE ONLY TO WARM THE BENCH.

Lennon has played all season and has been consistent!!......and yes has helped TOTTENHAM to 5th in the premiership!

Imagine u was a world class defender.....like NESTA or Puyol and had theo walcott running at u..... Laughing

Defoe and bent r too similar players.......but considering owen and rooney r injured ..... maybe he should have chosen 1

left out luke young.........altho he did well ...even better than NEVILLE!!
