I cannot believe that they held a celebration in Mogadishu for Somaliland... this guy Bashir Rage is the ultimate stupid idiot.. everything he does is wrong.... he initiated the anti-terror squad in Mogadishu, he declared war on everyone, and most importantly he celebrated lastnite the Somaliland independence.. check those pictures out..

That is weird. Politics works in really funny ways though. Xplosive you know Warsageli are finalising decision in Badhan to fully join somaliland dont you? Those diaspora Kombos who hate Somaliland will have to commit mass masada I think cos the people on the ground are making rational decisions and most likely will join Somaliland.

Anyway I think this is business. This guy has huge business interests in Hargeisa and i think he has been `encouraged' to show his support. He has been declarations of supporting Sland independence for quite a while now.

SNM helped the USC and supplied it with weapons, soldiers and logistics to fight for the freedom of it's citizens from the rule of the mob of Afweyne and his henchmen. Now, as it seems they have come to terms with the fact that Somaliland and Somalia are two separate but equal states who live side by side in peace. Soon the forces of evil, the old guard who left Somalia where it is today and caused the suffering of both it's Northern citizens and the people of Xamar are at it again trying to revive their rule, they can not fool us twice, no matter how hard they cry"Soomalinimo" when in fact they are the ones who nailed Somalia's coffin.


Good for our brothers in Xamar, I hope they reach a lasting cease fire between them, kick Abdilaahi Yusuf and puppet Geedi out and establish a good government that can work with their brothers in Somaliland for the good of the two brotherly nations

Somalilander Calls for an end of bloodshed in Muqdisho

The government of Somaliland, the Parliament, the public, and intellectuals have to do everything in their power to stop the fighting in Muqdisho and make a lasting peace between warring factions. By doing so we are not only fulfilling our Islamic duties, but also helping our Hawiye brothers.

Let us not forget, in the peak of fighting between SNM and Siyad barre forces in Somaliland, hundreds of Hawiye soldiers refused to fight against SNM and surrendered. Some of them joined SNM ranks and fought along side SNM, others were sent to the south and fought in the south. Till today Hawiye soldiers are in Somaliland Army.

The response by Hawiye to Siyad bare’s call to army was “Dalkayga daafac diidi maayo, Isaaq ku duul se yeeli maayo”. The only Pilot ,Ahmed Hassan (Ahmed Gaal ) , who refused orders to bomb civilians in hargeysa was Hawiye. That pilot landed his plane on sand near Jabuuti, risking his life, when Jabutian authorities refused to grant him landing

SNM and USC always worked together to achieve their common goal. SNM played a crucial role in creating USC and later provided mentorship and military support; in fact Hawiye forces that were fighting in the South were under SNM command before USC was created

When Siyad Bare’s forces retreated to the South after their defeat in the North , Hawiye forces responded by invading and capturing Muqdisho in Jan 1991 ,bringing Siyad Bare’s power to an end. The fall of Muqdisho to USC hastened our independence. Without USC intervention, Siyaad bare could have been in power for few years more.


I pray Allah to stop the war in Muqdisho and in every muslim land and ask my hawiye brothers to stop killing each other.
