I'll move to SOMALILAND if Somali remains UNSAFE

I am not kidding.. I am really planning to go back to Somalia... and it looks like that my birthplace (mogadishu) is becoming extremely worrying for me... I am getting married soon and trust me before I get a kid I have to plan to return to somewhere... my plan A is going back to Somalia but since its unsafe I got a plan B and its settle in Somaliland.. I got some friends in Somaliland and they kept telling to come to somaliland and live there... its not a bad choice actually!!!.. Im extremely thinking of it!!!...

I just need a project and I m off to Somaliland..

anyone of you ever thought of settling in Somaliland?

Anyone of Somali heritage, wh speaks Somali is welcome in Somaliland. There are many Somalis from different parts of the country living and doing business peacefully in Somaliland. I have many relatives who relocated back to Somaliland for good, some own businesses, some work for organizations, they like it there. Th etrick is you need to assimilate, learn the local Qaldaan lingo and chew khat Very Happy

other than that Somalilanders are a welcoming people you will feel right at home minus the gun shots and the killing, of course

Homer, you're probably be safer their or anywhere for that fact, the entire south isn't at war you know, It's only xamar, other towns and cities are battle free zones. don't assimilate the situations in Somalia.

Homer Simpso, be rational. Dividing Somalia won't help you or anyone else. I don't know what makes you write Somalia and "Somaliland" as if they are mutually exclusive. "Somaliland" lke "Puntland" is a region of SOMALIA.

Damalxaggare.. I know that my friend.. Somaliland is part of somalia and that is how I see it.. I will never ever see Somaliland as a country on its own.. I have all the rights as a somali citizen to live and work in Somaliland/Northen Somalia!!.. so I wont be able to live in Puntland because I am scared that they will voilate my rights as they have done to those poor Rahanweyn guys you know pulling your balls out one by one!! YIKES.. no way, Im not going to Puntland... so if Mogadishu remains like this, I will definatley go to Hargeysa and live there!?
