WALAHI I HAD ONE OF THE WEIRDEST EXPERIENCES TODAY..

Post by LionHeart-112 »

I know a lot of you are expecting another bizzare story about my times in the looney bin or disgusting tales about my third testicles but i really had a truly bizzare, almost inexplicable thing happen to me today....Maybe it's not so weird but it was the first time it happened...It's kind of long..but please read it...tell me if u have had anything like this happened to you.

I have suffered from severe seasonal allergies every Spring and Summer for the past 5 years. And thanks to my fucced up immune system, i get a cold every time the weather changes. Fastforward to this morning. I'm driving to work and my nose was extremely congested..and i dunno if it was the pollen or the humidity or whatever, i was having a really bad allergy attack despite nearly over-dosing on anti-histamine before i went to bed last night....I couldn't breathe through my nose, no matter what i did..I blew my nose, tried to force the air out..nothing..I'm driving 75 miles per hour when i have a really scary anxiety/panic attack. I was panicking over the fact that i couldn't breath through my nose. .Everything just kept getting smaller..The car is slowing down in my mind even though my foot is pushing the accelarator so hard that i'm going over 90. I tried un-buckling my seat belt which i believed was tigheting around my neck..i opened all four windows and started breathing heavily through my mouth...I picked up a bottle of water and starting jugging it down to ensure my esophagus remained open....It felt like having a heart attack..there was a pinching/piercing pain beneath my heart....When the anxiety attack let up, i looked up in the mirror only to find out i have drenched myself with tears and my eyes were red...Walahi i will never forget this morning......U know how i calmed myself down? 9 months i had nasal surgery to help me with my sinuses and my nostrils were closed for an entire week. I had some bandages and some other stuff in there.. So for an entire week i breathed through my mouth alone!....And i had an anxiety attack because i thought it wasn't possible to breath your mouth alone.....

have u ever experienced anything like this?

I had a similar problem and thought I couldn't breathe for whatever reason, and I would feel like I was going to faint because I would loose my breath. I thought I was crazy Laughing . It got pretty bad and I had a major panic attack and I went to a doctor and he gave me some pills. Those pills had so many side affects and I would be dependent on them I was told. So I never took them and started reading my Quran again, I also started looking at things from a different perspective, whatever is bound to happen will happen there is nothing I can do about it. I also took a trip back home which also helped get my mind clear, I am glad I never took those pills; all I needed was some time to get my mind clear.

Samatr....do u still have those pills? Laughing Laughing Laughing

They had to be either Xanax, Valium or Klonopin. They are a heaven sent man but they can be very addictive. They are so addictive that u can't get a re-fill. The doctor has to write a new prescription every month. They are only meant to take when u feel like u are abotu to have a anxiety attack....THEY ARE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD...

Did ur problem go away? Sometimes stress can induce them but for some people like soldiers and people who have been through traumatic experiences, they have to live with these meds.

I know this one guy who fought in one of them Ogadeen-Ethiopian wars. He suffers from constant panic attacks....

I never took the pills, I would pretend to take them then spit them out. I am glad I never took them, I would be dependent on them today. I just started to feel better especially when I went back home. There are people who are in much worse situations and they do not have panic attacks, which also made me think I was siking myself out. Those were the worst times, but it's all over thank Allah.

Alhamdulillah. Yours sounds like it was brought by stress and possible home-sickness.
