all the countries above us are certainly more united internally and probably have natiional and functioning institutions at least I know---Iraq, sudan, Zimbabwe and Ivory coast do.

Only Xamar is fukked beyond belief, so yeah Somalia should not even be on that list.

Somalia should be placed in 7th place, It's not as crucial as some of the places beneath it. especially places like Haiti.

I find it hard to grasp too.

That list is a joke. How can any1 put Pakistan on the same list with Afghanistan and Somalia. Most of the countries on the list are experiecing internal turmoil but the only failed state on thre are Somalia and Afghanistan. The rest have some sort of functioning government which at least fully controlly parts of its country.

Sudan isn't that bad if you look middle east states. Well, I'm sure in 20 - 50 years some states will disapear such Bahran, Kuwait... Insha Allah Saud house will be refugee in their masters' country ( America).
