ANOTHER NATURAL CRISIS IN INDONESIA

Post by Gacalisa »

In the Island of Java in Indonesia a horrid earthquake occurred early dawn yesterday, and today the death toll 4,200.

The relief fund for the Island is faster and better than the relief fund for the 2004 Tsunami, but they lack manpower and cannot find people to volunteer and aid.

what sad is that the aftermath and shock of the earthquake is worst than the Tsunami, because people fear that another Tsunami may occur eventhough it is and earthquake and a Tsunami may not occure.

many peopel living by the ocean immideatly grabed their belongings and ran at least 2 miles away until they found dry clear land.

also officials fear a volcano may errupt and its just a matter of time untill it may errupt. they are just waiting for, and have been prepared for it for two months.

walaahi this is sad, and i hope these people will find help.

also java was one of the best tourist islands and in the country.

I pray for the people of Indonesia. It was another undersea earthquake and they were initially worried of another Tsunami. Our Masjid is collecting money for the survivors, and please ask your Imaam.

Cheroke

Sadly, In my limited knowledge, I think Indonesia is sitting on major tectonic plates called the Sumatran fault that is why these earthquakes are common.

only Allah would know the answer to that question, but I think it's something more sinister than standard geophysics. Evil or Very Mad

i think it has a lot to do with the land and region. for Tsunamis its clear they have a lot of ocean water, and i think, and i may be wrong but during the monsoon, i think it gets worst. and even worser when it is a monsoon with heavy winds.

but dont know.

People are saying that there's nothing natural about all the disasters hitting the area in recent years.

2 days before the tsunami (Dec 24) CBC reported that people in Jakarta saw a huge flashing ball of light in the sky. could that be a coincidence?? I think not! plus, it's a well known fact that Australia frequently does offshore nuclear testing for a number of reasons, like oil exploration and whatnot.

now I don't know if the tsunami and earthquake were intended or if they were just unforeseen consequences but I bet you anything that the powers that be are doing all they can to milk the situation to their advantage. I mean, Indonesia IS the largest muslim country in the world. And it's relatively stable. those two factors present a huge threat to the western world. what better excuse for all the 'aid workers' aka missionaries to come to the rescue and recruit? and to sink the country further into debt.
