Police raided a house in east London in the early hours of yesterday morning and apprehended two Islamists one of whom they shot in the shoulder during the arrest to incapacitate him. Apparently MI5 (one of the secret services of Britain) had reason to believe that the men were planning to set off a chemical device which they were working on inside the house. A forensic team is still searching the house.

Muslim extremists worldwide urged on by the promise of 72 virgins and a river of fine wine seem to want to maim and murder innocent civilians going about their daily occupations whether it be in Toronto Canada, or London England. CouldnÃ¢Â€Â™t wait for their reward in the afterlife so they figured theyÃ¢Â€Â™d hasten their death instead.

It's about time Canada joined in the efforts to send the Muslim populations in the West packing back to wherever they came from. I'm just surprised it took this long.

These men are innocent. They're nothing more than pawns, being accused and rounded up on the basis of nothing more than innuendo and false pretenses. Their only crime being flaunting their private parts at CSIS in the past, making them look like the joke they are.

^^^ Not innocent, the people in question were under surveillance by the intelligence services and found to be plotting further terrorist attacks similar to July 7.

Further Britian is traditionally a Christain country- not atheist.

Your above comment could be interpreted in two ways. First one being that the respective countries of Britian and Canada are atheist which is evidently not the case.

Second being that Same and I don't uphold freedom which is also baseless because the Islamists in question and who've been apprehended were not innocent in the eyes of the authorities who've been monitering their movements, email and telephone records for months.

In Canada, you're innocent till proven guilty. canada couldn't even convict the bombers of Air India for lack of credible evidence, so what makes you think they can convict thse innocent pawns with anything more substantiative than innuendo and false allegations??
