Ok, what do you think of this dude? A) is he a sell out for married a fat white english women, who is christian, rather than marrying a somali muslima. B) he said that he wants his kids to choose whatever religion they wanted and that he would expose them to both religions to his kids, (that is Islam and Christianity).

So, do you think that if he had not married this baronas's duaghter rage would have been who he is today?

Sure, he's where and who he is today because of some royalty. The guy doesn't want his last name to sound like the name of Taliban's leader, that's why he changed it to Omaar.

In Islam, we are allowed to marry Christians and other Ahlu-kitaab. But as matter of fact, as of today, it seems that there is nothing called Ahlu-kitaab. And marrying their women would not give you any benefit, but just disaster as long as they donÃ¢Â€Â™t want to convert to Islam or follow their own religion correctly. In my point of view, the guy has chose to live that way and there are a lot of Somali people like him even worse then him, so I donÃ¢Â€Â™t call him sell-out, instead I call him, a confused Somali man who does not know the importance of his religion and his own value.

His last name is Oomaar and was always Oomaar... He is Rage Cabdilaahi Oomaar......

Although men are allowed to marry outside their circle, but I think unless a man is strong and manly enough to guide his wife into the ways of Somali life he shouldn't marry. What happens to the weak ones is that they lose their children... They are no more Somalis... As I said before I have relatives married to Europeans... Some of their children are real Somalis while some are totaly lost...

But also let us not forget that there are so called Somalis ( Muslim by name) and do more harm to our country and our people.. while there are westernised guys that do so many good deeds for his country and people...
