Is Iraq the next Abu dhabi????

Post by Basra- »

Yes... Abu Dhabi has drastically transformed in the last 5 years.I saw it on CNN last night--absolutely amazing. They know their oil will run out soon--so what they are doing is--opening tourism, business venture & transforming the country into a first world class! The currency, dirhams is far more valuable than our dollars!

Have you noticed we dont hear a lot of American soldiers dying in Iraq lately??? Maybe this is a sign of improvements. I mean, President Bush just flew last night to meet the prime minister--in a whimsical decision. He flew with airforce 1, in disguise with a baseball cap,i know not so official like but there is hope! Soon the country will be 100 % secure, safe & sufficiently well behaved. Soon it will be so advanced--Kuwait & Abu dhabi will be told to step out of the way.Soon i will go back to my home city, Basra!

Madam Basra-, Abu Dhabi is a place where lots of haram happens. Their leaders are too secular and liberal. I wouldn't call capitalism, skyscrapers, highways, tourism, business ventures, casinos, prostitution, etc- "world class", "amazing" or civilization.

" Have you noticed we dont hear a lot of American soldiers dying in Iraq lately???"

You might want to check this link:

http://icasualties.org/oif/

In the link, 317 US invaders/occupiers lost their lives since the begining of the year. That's an average of 2 deaths per day. Of course, if the real number of deaths were to be published, people like you would panick; that's why the number is watered-down.

No i am sure American Soldiers are dyuing but not in masses like before.SO this means there is progress for sure! The Insurgents are narrowed down to small caves by the day.I think Iraq & afghanistan will be one of richest cities of the future; & more sure the United States will financially benefit therefore making our lives as Americans .......luxurious. Basra Sorry but Iraaq appears to be fukked.

Sad to say but the cradle of civilization is toast.

and You are mixing Abu dhabi with Dubai,
abudhabi's oil at current production will last from 150-200 years.
They are launching new projects to compete with Dubai,
which has been hitting the news allot lately.

Basra-Iraq would be save when the Americans leave, how are they going to win and who are they fighting with, the overwhelming Iraq's don't want America in their country,so I say let the Iraq's find their own solution and let the Americans go with their imperialism attitude,America can't fix the world's problems, especially when it has double standard and the attitude of my way or the highway.

Gurey@lool thanks for the corrections! Laughing Laughing I believe i am mixing Abu dhabi with Dubai. I think-- Confused Laughing Laughing

Gobdoon--so u want Iraqis to fight their own war like the Somalis are doing? Xasiidsanid wlaaal?? U are misery loves company. You of all the people know the stupidity of ethnic people--with their stupid war or tribes, sub religion or petty wars. You know that --these people need very well a modern--unbiased--democratic civilized nation to show them how to be civil & respect borders of basic lifes necessities. I commend the united states government for an intention well done.As to a job well done-- i have yet to hope for that! Very Happy Laughing Laughing

Yes,but where does the remedy lie,it's easy to say that all Iraq wants and needs is like democracy in the West,or may be they want democracy in their own style, this attitude of imposing things to a country is unwork able. Smile
