This could be the end of the so called Islamic courts,no body knows their objective but I hope it doesn't start a new civilwar,now they are threatening Baidabo,they should not go any where near unless they are looking trouble,the interim parliement/government is entitled to invite any foreign peace keepers to the country and that the courts should not carry on gambling and should negotiate with the interim government peacefuly,but if they carry on the hostility and attach the base of the parliement/gov. it could be the end of them.

Foreign peacekeepers are something that concern all Somalis and there is nothing to indicate that even more than a small minority of Somalis want foreign peacekeepers.

The courts made early gestures to worth with the interim government, but C/Yussuf insists on foreigners and wants to eliminate the courts with the help of foreign peacekeepers. The interim government does not have a right to do that and I hope this blunder is the end of C/Yussuf's final career.

You see I am not a supporter of A/llahi yusuf,and I never liked the man
but I think we should not concentrate on personalities,and both sides need not to ignite the situation and the media should stop telling lies between them and that they should sit down together and respect each ather and find solutions for the problems,war is not the answer.

C/Yussuf is not a man who is willing to compromise.

Otherwise he would have been willing to compromise on the peacekeeping issue. He wants to be installed by force.

Any Somali willing to sacrafice Somali unity for personal political ambition is a traitor and doesn't deserve to lead Somalia.

As far as I'm concerned, he should be exiled permanently.

But at the end of the day there is a parliement with representetives from all walks of live,and that if he is to be removed sooner or later it's going to do it,at least this man is trying to redeem himself and has the intrest of Somalia at heart.

at this point the only hope Somalia has in the Islamic Court and that is something that Yusuf is against wholeheartedly so they would not and couldnot work together.

and Somalia can not and will not get any help from foreigners it would only make things worst. and Yusuf believing and wanting that the US will help is just pure dumb.

Why would anyone want to go to Baidoa? It is such a shithole. It looked like hell in 1993 and I find it difficult to believe that it has improved much since then.

I think the 2 standpoints u mentioned are the core purposes why each kinfolk is attempting 2 instigate a warfare against the other clans. Alongside, is not like Somali ppl had a concord or unity 2 begin with. So whatÂ’s threaten them? Plus im not supporting c/yusuf course of actions nor I want the old folk 2 assist Ethiopians 2 cross the threshold 2 our country neither. But 2 give it a 2nd thought, what's the alternative approach that will restrict the (simulating) groups from marching into other areas, and committing more carnages? *Clueless, huh*
