Asalaamu Caleykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh to my fellow Muslims and Hello to the non Muslims and Atheist, Kuffaar, Pagans e.t.c.
Bacadu Salaam,
I can't believe that the amendment did not win the "majority" vote in the senate. I was happy to hear the filth practice of the same s*x mariage was going to be banned permanently but unfourtunately it didn't happen. This amendment was important than the so called war on "terror" or the so called the "patriot act." This was the only thing I agree with the noe cons and they failed to pass.
I would argue that this amendment is for the sake of the civilized nation and the values of the believers.

There were suppose to pass an amendment that was going to bann the gay mariage but the senate didn't get the "majority" vote so they didn't pass it.
No it is a Somali way I forgot usually I use "x" instead "h"
BTW: I heard you are getting married to your 4th wife is it true?

Even had the senate passed it, it would then have had to be ratified by two thirds of the states. That outcome was highly unlikely. The constitution is deliberately structured so that it can not be changed on a whim. Gay marriage is freaky, and I don't agree with it conceptually, but it is going to be a reality throughout the west. We might as well get used to it.

""WASHINGTON - Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record) thought he had a deal when
President Bush, faced with a veto-proof margin in Congress, agreed to sign a bill banning the torture of detainees. Not quite. While Bush signed the new law, he also quietly approved another document: a signing statement reserving his right to ignore the law. McCain was furious, and so were other lawmakers.""
He overided the above why couldn't he overide and ban the same s*x marriage? I guess he is too sissie to do that.
