in fact, the few years the British ousted the Italians from the South (WW2), those were the only years you had seen what fredom was all about. I remember hearing on the BBC the Dhabayaco former PM of Somalia Abdirisaaq saying that the British opened their eyes and allowed them for the first time to become normal equal humans. He said during the Italians there were signs on public display saying "White Only"...
