10 ways Shaytaan uses to misguide you to his way of life.

Post by young@muslim »

1. Al-Waswasah - Whispering

This is the general type of whispering done by the Shaytaan and there is a constant tug of war against your heart and waswasah. Most Muslims are familiar with this type of misguidance but are weak and fall prey to it.

2. Al-Ighraa – Temptation

3. Al-Nazegh – Provocation

4. Al-Istifzaas – To Excite

This is done by two ways firstly by your sayings i.e. singing and secondly by your actions i.e. driving with pride by revving up your car unnecessarily to create attention or showing off.

5. At-Tasweef / At-Thamanee - When you are diverted from a good deed by a good thought

During your Salaah you think about donating to the Mujaahideen and say to yourself I will give so much money to the Muslims in Falloojah. By doing this you have neglected your Salaah by not concentrating and attaining Khushoo' (ritual focus and concentration) during it.

6. Al-Mass – Touch/Whispering (Metaphorical)

Verily those who fear Allah (ward off evil), when a touch of evil comes to them from Shaytaan they remember (Allah), and (indeed) they then see (aright) [7: 201]

7. Al-Tazeem – Glorify your bad deeds or to make your bad deeds look good

When Our Torment reached them, why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Shaytaan glorified to them that which they used to do. [6: 43]

8. Al-Qareen / Al-Iqthiraan – A satanic (person) who is with you all the time

Muhammad (saw) said, Everyone has a Qareen. The companions asked Oh Rasoul-ullaah even you? Muhammad (saw) said, Yes but I defeated it and made it a Muslim with the help of Allah (swt). [Al-Bukhaarie]

9. Al-Ifthithan / Al-Fitnah - To cause trouble between each other

10. Al-Ihaa – Inspiring

Shaytaan will inspire there own alliances to debate and argue with you.

When buying food one should have fear Allah (swt) and try to avoid the doubtful foods; especially when we know most poultry and meat products claim to be Halaal yet they are clearly Haraam.
