Elton John Lashes Out At England World Cup Team : It's A Disgrace

Elton John has lashed out at the England football team for Â“letting downÂ” their fans at this yearÂ’s World Cup in Germany.

Â“There has not been an outstanding player at this World Cup. I do not even want to talk about that f*cking Sven Goran Abba-dabba.Â” He told his audience in Bournemouth. (For those of you NOT familiar with the England team, heÂ’s referring to England coach Sven Goran Eriksson.)

Â“As always the England fans have been fantastic. They have been let down by the team and let down by people earning Â£125,000 a week. It's a disgrace.Â”

England made it to the quarter finals before being knocked out by Portugal last week, although many England fans believed they were lucky to get that far.

Last week Lily Allen wrote in her blog that Â“[David] Beckham is sh*tÂ”, Portugese star Christiano Ronaldo is Â“pure evilÂ” and that England should thank god coach Sven Goran ErikssonÂ’s Â“reign of terrorÂ” is over.

instead he watches the players.
