SOMALIS TO THE SPACE???

INSHALLAH WE WILL GO TO THE SPACE BUT 1ST READ THIS........

I would like to thank all of the somali's who voice their opinion, even the negative ones,because it makes us realize that there are some of our people out there that are lost and searching for some answers and the truth.....

At one point or another we the somalis need to start looking for answer: who is to blame for this crisis?when and how will we ever go back to our motherland? why aren't we(somalis) in differ areas of the world getting together and just rebuild our country? where did all of our leader have gone? is it too late to make our country unite agian? why dont the warlord(qabil-clan leaders, the cold killers, etc.) give in and let somalia become one). The most important question of all, how long will it take to make EVERY Somali understand that we are bothers?

Now as am write this, some of you might think "yeah i have heard it all before" , and some might say, maan get real. You maybe right, but we are in a new era. An era that is making the dream(rebuilding our motherland) more and more realistic, with all the smart somali minds in the world and technology we have. There is a great movement going on right now and we should all join. It makes me feel really sad and sick to myself when i hear young brothers post comments like "There's no future for somalia"(it was post @the future of somalia group), but it also feuls me to do even more to make it happen. I reed the reply, most of yall disagreed and made a good reply, some even booed him, and one agreed with the kid and said that the kid gets a point.........

Well let me say one thing, I am no dr phil, but that kid wants to see somalia unite together as one(we all do), yet this 16 year old DOESN'T believe that somalis will agree on one thing and that is who will LEAD our COUNTRY without the killings, clans, borderlines, etc. My idea to make a good country become a great nation is, if all of the the somalis in the world want to make a change, they can and they will! Today, everywhere you go you will find our people, here in the USA or in the WORLD. Place you never think somalis would go, places like( Alaska, Hawaii, Germany, Russia, etc., you name it, they are there)...........

They are living happily all around the globe. Some of them dream to see that day when we all come join hand-in-hand, forgive one another, and stop all the self hatred (meaning we are jealous, envious about ones success or hard work). We disloyal , because if you where famous today, you would have alot of somalis looking at you like" who the hell is he, o he aint nobody, his just a somali". Atleast that's how i observated my people. That may not be true about all somalis, but the ones who are living in America. I guess you can say that I am being disloyal to my people for talk negative about them, but i want to make ya'll understand that we can't be ONE unless we LOVE each other as brothers that we are. I ask you to open your heart and feel the LOVE. We do help each other, but i am talking about: when people talk behind peoples backs, and talking all that non-sense about who's a better or dominate QABIIL(tribe,clan). Maybe that's the reason why we are still a third world country.......

Some of our people hate to be known as somalis. Like my little cusin, he thinks his black like an afro-American lol,i tried telling him that his mother and father are somalis, so how could you possible be black.The point is we are ashamed of our selves and to be called a somalis. We are known around the globe and in America(where dreams come true as they say). Everyday you hear them talking negative about us, in their movies, music, t.v. shows, news and even music. We are a joke to them. I read an article which was title "forgotten people: somalia......

How is America going to save our country if we can't seem to do it ourselves. America tried, but it had failed, know its on us to take the mission. Time has gone by so fast, we are living in 2006. Its been atleast 10 to 20 years since we first came here to America, we got the education and dream life that seeked for. Some of us take it for granted and just dont care about the people back home. They want to live their happy lifes and make America their home.....

So what if you where still back home milking the cow lol or vice versa . One thing i do know though , i do not take this for granted. Somalia is so unique for its music, culture(foods, clothes, language, style, looks, and even beautiful women). Its strange? The mexican/latino people (hardworking people) are being made fun of everyday and even worse now with the border bein' closed and all, but my point is they still show madd love for their people and their country( even they come to America for whatever reason). Thats the kind of LOVE we need to show to our people and most importantly to our motherland; Somalia. One of my favorite quote is "ACTION speaks LOUDER than words". We need to take action and we need to do so now. We are all, yes i said ALL, on the same mission. Some of us may thing the mission is impossible and most of us we know the mission is possible. The movement is strong and we need each and every somali to fight with us not against us and hopeful we will see that day..... insha'allah

thank you for reading my long article...and I believe you got motional read it too..... but the whole point why i wrote(i 1st post at myspace, than thought i should share it with my other somali people) is that we were talking about somalia and somalis, and how we will ever get a good government(which is not based on qibiil(clan),ICU,etc...... basically it all boils down to this, if we get ride of all the negative clan, qibiil,..etc whatever you wanna call it... then we may have a chance! salamu
