I just wanted to know what people thought of it. In my opinion I feel that it is a made up thing, another plaque on society.

^being a qaniis is largely environmental. where you live influences your "qaniisnimo". if you live and grew up say somalia things that would be consdered qaniisnimo in america are not like holding hands, kissin and all that other shit. but the environment leds one to superimpose an orientation on themselves thats why you have alot of qaniisis in the west.

for example during the prophet's life time (this is mostly use to proof the "evil eye" but it has relevence here) a saxabi was bathing nudely when another saxaba came upon him. the saxabi was so attracted to the bathing saxaba's nude form he gave him the evil eye because he so desired that physical form. when the prophet was made aware of the situation he called the saxaba who gave the eye and told HIM to shower over a baaldi to collect the water that he cleansed himself with. the prophet took the dirty water and sprayed over the saxaba lifeless who was given the eye. the saxaba was then able to rise up.

wouldn't that be considered qaniisnimo in the west today Laughing
