Faysal Ali Warabe and his Hate Message
Aren't we Cushites, according to the classifictions of African races . Bantu-like features is not true for most of Somalis and If that happens to be the features of the main and the most numerous Southerners, I don't have a problem with that. thick libs , upper jaws and lower body posture. are common features for many races including the Arabs and other Asians.
I also completely disagree that we descended from Arabs and I don't think Daarood or Isaaq believe this myth. We are Cushites, the Origin of the Land of Punt, unique people.

"The superstitious claim, which Faysal Ali Waraabe is bent to politicize and bring up to the public domain, is rooted in black slave trade and its subsequent universal black self hate, which basically ascribed low values to anything that is African or African-related. From the looks of our people to the heritage we collectively or separately claim, we tend to disassociate ourselves from Africaness. In its place, we fabricate lineages with offshore noble households. (Here it is important to cite also that the Darood clan claims to have descended from the Arabian Sur Ismail family, while others have their own claims too.) Anyone who has encountered Faysal Ali Warabe to see his thick lips, Bantu-like features and dark skin (and this is true for millions of Somalis) would realize the fallacy of the “Bini Hashimite” claim, and the deep-rooted self hate that produces such a fantasy claim. As to the fallacy of such a claim, even the late self styled emperor Jean-Bedel Bukassa of the Central African Republic had claimed to have descended from the nobility of Greeks! Or the late Haile Selasse claim that he too descended from mythical queen Sheba and King Solomon, hence the lion of Juda! "

There is some credibility to what he is saying, not too long ago the Doroos and Wallaweyn were running naked in the wilderness of East Africa http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l21/p ... zumali.jpg Â… the ISAAQ brought you into civilization, so his point is, you cannot lecture your masterÂ…I totally agree with him.

[quote="gurey25"]Faysal warabe's comments are outragous but they really are nothing compared to the hatefull comments spewed everyday by Isaaq haters.

I neither subscribe to darood nor Esaaq properganda. The politics of qabil is far beyond realm of my knowlege. since I Lack any inate hate against any tribe. I feel I qualify to render a just view based on what I have so read. Presuming the allegation made in the article is true.
Thus clearly illustare the identity crisis within somalis in general that is found by the utter hate of anything african, to replace the insecurity that has emerged from the pseudo falacy of arabinsm, some tribes have gone to an extraodinary level far beyond comprehension of any sane and common mind. Although Faysal Ali Waraabe is not the offcial spokesman of the Essaq people, nonetheless the reservation of podium in the upcoming SOPRI convention clear indicates His new found arabness based on the outrageous force affiliation to "Bin Hashimite" resonates across Somaliland.
Its a shame to see an individual in complete denial of his much known identity. I must admit such claims are not exclusive to the Essaq people, the culture of self denial is a known phenomena in other tribes too, it seems no one have the monopoly to the prevailing pseudo sense of Arabness. We have heard so far a dozen of outlandish culturally and historical self affiliation, one of which deserve a crown in the "Arabness" beauty contest is "Bin Hashimite" , I am suffice to say brace yourself there is more to come, we have yet to hear future claims to be made by disoriented Somalis tribes and there cultural insensetive zealots that there children of ALLAH. Is my assertion that is a matter of time before attempt are made to claim the ultimate supremacy to the tribal hierachy by denoting that there the product of ALLAH.
ALLAH gives no damn if u r Bin Hashimite, Darood, Esaaq or Hawiye or any other tribe..Is time to recover u r self from the virtual livings and immerse your soul and mind in the physical world but not let dwell on the culturally falacy befallen you.
I understand there is war on Somalinet betwen South and North people, it worthless to contend whats is obvious, no one is a fockin Arab by any sense, resign to the fact that you are an african....get over it guys.
If its hurts I can help it .....sorry
