So what more than 7 thousand people died?? So what the towers were brought down to ashes? SO what if Osama is somewhere smoking hashish & giggling in arabic tune??? So what if it is the 5th year anniversary of 911??Who cares!!!

I am sick of the media's attempt to dramtize ...this ...no doubt... tragedy! However, I am sick of sitting down watching how people perform crocodile tears on live tv right through our living room to show how they were 'affected'.I mean, every day millions of people die, & no ONE even remembers to mention their death, forget about their names or even validating their existence. Now you switch on any channel & what do you see?? 911 tributes & all the usual typical sob pathetic feeling stories-- 'I was shocked, watching the tower fall." "Where is Usama bin laden"?? I miss my husband, my wife, my son, my dog--- PLEASE -- give me a break!I miss my shows too! ALl this tributes has interrupted the usual smooth flow of Sunday line up shows. Now they have these 911 victims wives, who have formed a club & now are 'ready' to date. Can u believe they expose us to a bunch of sad pathetic women on Today Matt lauer NBC news to update us on their days after Septermber 11??How dare them!!! They show us how these pathetic widows are now finally ready to date & they even mother fu**ker dare take us along their date as if they are cute Paris Hilton!!.Uuuff ..Much worst-- they made a whole 4 minutes long shot of the orphan kids-segment titled "911 kids growing up'---they are 'just ' 5 years old mind ya-- --treated as if these kids were something 'special' & 'Wonderful'! Millions of kids die with hunger every day or bullets in civil wars --who cares about them??I dony but--Gosh if you are going to take our time & mention death---i dont mind them, at least they need the main life necessities. My God. Americans are really the ultimate narcissist Walaahi, i am so disgusted beyond any means. Now --EVEN worst --this 5th year anniversary--they have a new 'twist" honoring 911-- all the fire fighters & the police are coming up with pathetic illness that they claim is as a result of the smoke that came from the towers debree. The smoke apparently caused them long term health problems that make the continue to suffer even after 911.Others claim psychological problems & all that dramatic sissy deameanor. PLEASE any fool can even tell what they are up to--Insurance scan!! Helooo??? Even Somali Skinies know this old classic American con !!
Can i say i am just PISSED OFF that my normal tv calender has been interrupted by this unneccesary over-exaggerated emotional disturbances???? I am sorry 911 happened-- truly sympathize --but can WE move on?????
Thank you! !

Wife, basra is not the inttellectual type woman, she is more like the glossy-magazine-inspired type of women who are infinitely obsessed with looks they won't/can't have.

For once, Basra do a good point. It is a disaster, tragedy, catatrophe and I sympathize with the victims, but the media's coverage of this event is way over the top. Millions of people die in other parts of the world but no one ackowledges their existence. Its bullshit.

Hey genius! why not change the channel? Unless you're a BIG MSNBC and CNN fan, you shouldn't have a problem coming across those things..
Just a though!

I'd prefer watching CBS, ABC, & NBC weekdays.. Not much comes on sudays. I usually rent movies on Sundays.
Hows the gastric bypass going?

Basra,
I wish I could applaud your little piece of lamentation but alas!! on the contrary.
The dead ppl are Americans, the TVs are American's, the commentators are Americans, the sobbing ones are Americans, the would-be-dating widows are Americans and the 5 year-old kids are Americans and they commemorate the tragedy as long as they want, how they want and when they want, I don't see that as a problem.
See, the sad thing about the "other kids" or victims is, they are killed, starved and maimed by none other than their supposed protectors, leaders and the ones whose main task was to look out for them and ensure their well-being and their welfare.
The lives of the Americans are valued by their own ppl whereas the lives of your African/Arab brothers and sisters are not even worthy mentioning let alone remembered. You can't blame the Americans for loving each other in tough times
