Hawiyes and Higher learning

Post by dhuusa_deer »

Look what I found while surfing the net. Mogadishu University graduation ceremony. Absolutely astonished. Never in a millions years thought Abgaals and Habar Gedirs valued learning.

Dhuuso

you are only confirming what we already knew: You know not a whole lot, you are often wrong and wrong-headed.

Sorry to be harsh to a lady Very Happy

Hawiye today have the most university graduates(foreign schools) than any other Somali tribe. Most of the post-graduate Scholarships in the west used to go to Hawiye government workers.

But they dont take advantage of this because the Hawiye dont accord their scholars the respect they deserve. And they certainly dont put them in leadership capacities.

Hawiye is a big tent holding many clans, most whose provenience is questionable. But everyone knows Habar Gedir and Abgaals are subhumans. Savages that still don't know how to make fire and use primitive tools. That they producing graduates of Higher Learning is sight to behold. Wouldn't you agree.

Dhuusa, what's with the generalization? coming from a guy who claims to be a pragmatic thinker!

I was fortunate to visit MU's new campuses earlier this year. Simply; very promising.

Hold on, Dhuusa dheer is a man?

If he is a man why does he call himself Dhuusa Dheer?

He should be Dhuusa Dheere

The adjective does not agree with the noun

No I went to Xamar for a vacation, this was right before the wadaado took over. When I went they were still finishing up these new campuses situated on the outskirts of town. We knew one of the Professors a DR from Sweden and he took us and other young people who were there for a vacation to see it, and to kind of encourage us to either teach a summer there or if still in school to do a semester there. It was a very nice experience.
