Why Caabudwaaq residents burned the Turban(Cimaamad)

I used to see flags burned to show hatred for the invading nation, but Cimaamad burning was the first of its kind. I was completely amazed at the scene and the desperation of the residents. How can Cimaamad be associated with the savage Hawiye. I agree with Abdiwahab that Hawiye have stolen the religion. Is this a paradigm shift of our great religion or Does Cimaamad sound to you alien thing that we imported from the nomad Sacuudis?

Absame: The RED Cimamaads stand for the Saudi wahhabi whacko Wadaads Isku Sheeg. So it can be burned as it represents an alien culture.

Absame the red cimaamad has nothing to do with Islam, if you look deep in history, it was a gift from the british to the ruling family of Sacuudi, I am not going to get all historical here but you seem to get the wrong impression of the situation!!

He said Cimaamad and not red Cimaamad. Im pretty sure the Prophet pbuh used to wear a Cimaamad.

I've had a problem with the red Cimaamad my whole life

If we want be specific, he (saw) used to wear a turban on his head..........the kind you FIRMLY WRAP

around your head...........not the kind oo madaxaada kaa laa laado and you have to constantly adjust it at the slightest wind blow.
Also, he wore an Izaar, a garment that you wrap around the waist........basically a Macawiis.
I believe this red 'ghutra' came from the Saudi Bedouins from Najd........basically the same people as Al-Saud and stuff............ever since they assumed power, it became the fashionable thing to wear in terms of prestige in society.
The Madani Arabs (like the Quraish) used to wear the turban kind of Cimaamad.......
So, basically wearing this red Cimaamad is emulating the Bedouin Arabs from Al-Jazeera..........because they originally wore it.

You right guys, they burned the red one but I didn't know that color differences of the turbans mattered in varying degrees, the red one being the most extreme label. The Dervishes used to wear white ones (Duub Cad), then and now common for the Islaaxiya sect.
I would rather wanted the residents to set fire on effigies of Korneel Awees, Shariif and Turki. This act in part would have shown the world politically that Aweeis is a smart warlord in religous dressing and that he is not wanted in Caabud Waaq and partly would have proved the perception that his USC a.k.a UIC is not in control of large portions of the south.

Absame: Who has time to make effigies ?

These demonstrations happen randomly and making an effigy would take a long time to do but getting an cimamaad is fast n cheap

Are you saying Reer Caabudwaq are not that sophisticated to make effigies?

That shows Sacads aren't weak. You guys faught well too even though you were divided, the biggest portion being in support of the Cayr Domination Movement.

Absame: Not true. A majority supported Qeybdiid in the fight. However, when it comes down to it, we were overwhelmed when the Cayr brought HG, Hawiye, Darood and Dir (Issaq & Gadbuursi). The battle was called the Sacad vs. Somali.
If we didn't run out of bullets, we would have continued. When we ran low, we bought some from the Cayr Courts. Ahahaha So much for wadaadnimo.
