Somalis were capable of conducting ambushes before Eritrea became involved. Arabs 100 years ago were ambushing Ottoman supply lines in Hijaz. No new spectacular warfare here.

I don't know how old this video is, but it doesn't look that recent.

Besides, I don't know what the Eritrean-Muslim role is in all of this because I heard that there was a falling out between the Eritrean Muslim freedom fighters and the non-Muslim ones.
