It is said that around #250,000 are paid annually to the clan of Qabydiid as an incentive to cease from hostility and support the bilateral contract of the two clans to live in peace.

The is a very pressing issue to the folks of the city who does not get a penny of their taxes and contribution of clannish charity sent from overseas. The Ugaas of Ciise Moxamoud was censured harshly when he asked for a tribute.
