Make sure before you start talking

Post by Sir-Luggoyo »

bad about someone if there is a remote possiblity that they "may" understand your language.

My uncle came from Abu Dhabi a fortnight ago with his Yemeni wife and two children. They took a cab from the airport to a hotel in downtown Boston. My uncle's wife doesn't speak good Somali, so basically he was talking to her in Arabic when coming into the cab and during their trip to the hotel, he is lightskin and was dressed in qamiis and cimaamad. The cabbie happened to be Somali and he was on his cellphone talking to, probably, another skinny cabbie and was answering a question the other one asked, he said "War mid xun oo Carab ah oo futo cad iyo islaantisii iyo caruur yaryar oo ay dhaleen baan wadaa"

My uncle didn't reacted to that and played cool, continued with his conversation with his wife. Upon arrival at the hotel, he paid the cabbie and with pure Somali, he said to the cabbie "Waaryaahee, war wax aan edeb la barin baa tehee, afkaaga xunee huurada leh ka hayso dadka"

Oopss!! Mr. Skinny Cabbie was like a rat cornered, his jaw just dropped and his eyes bulged out, he couldn't utter a word

Mikey,

Basically, another cabbie is on the phone and may have asked about his passengers, to which he responded, I am carrying a filthy white arsed Arab, his wife and children"

To which my uncle responded later on "Hey, you are one bad mannered dude, I suggest you keep your stinking mouth to yourself"

Enemy

There is a reason that I emphasized his skin color and his dresscode, and if you did not get it, you are even slower than I thought you were.
