XPLAYA HOW COME YOU HAVEN'T REFUTED THE OGADEN TOPIC?
Ashlee not only you are an effeminate but you are also a dim-witt , Ogaadeen Liberation Front is a Kuumbo organization it has nothing to do with your Oromo cousins.
As far as reer isaaq a man who visited their side of the turff will call them reer isaaq , it puzzled me what else he should call them?/

drag-queen,
He didn't say anything particular about them except to describe their tarditional Dry-season grazing in 1885. In fact most of the areas he mentioned is tarditional H.Y land , Xodoyo and so forth. Little you know that somali clans follow to distinct tarditional grazing range , the Gu grazing range which is their tarditional land , and the Deyr "dry season" range which takes them far off their tarditional land.
Another thing you refuse to mention is the man mentioned various sub-clans of Mahamed Zubeer , there was nothing unique about that, he mentioned reer Ugaas Cilmi, reer Abdulle etc... nothing speacial about your post.

Ofcourse I read all 28 pages. But I adressed your specific point. You said in 1890 there were no reer cali and reer haruun but just Maxamed Zubeyr.
But in fact James articulates that reer haruun and cali which in and of the selfs are subclan of reer isaaq are present and strong in the ogadeyn. You are a clueless idoor. Your presence is mentioned as habr gerhajis in history which is of the equivalence too maxamed aka kabalalax Darood. 120 years ago the white bastards where dealing with daroods as sub sub sub sub sub clans and you guys as the "SAVAGE EDOOR"

The man travelled in Ogaadeen Maxamed Zubeer , he lumbed all Dhulos together in his map and all Mareexaan together because they were not the subject of his travell, he sit out from Aden specifically to explor Ogaden land. Are you sure you read the report kid??
So arriving in the heart land of mahamed Subeer and mentioning few section of Mahamed subeer and not even either the Makaahiil, Bah Geri and Awaliayan proves further my point.
You have zero case there, you just been a little hard headed brat.

Ashlee,
I think Xaarplaya was knocked out by your map. His original post was that Ogaadeen are a small minority in Ogaadeeniya. The map mentioned Ogaadeen as subclans, each one occupying huge tracts of land. From Daroor to NFD, an Unbroken Ogaadeen occupied lands from Caliyo Haaruun to Muqaabil and Cawlyahan Reer Waafato in Afmadow and NFD.
Ogaadeen today = 4 Million strong.
Isaaq = 1 Million, if that.
Btw,
Ashlee give me the 411 on the where that map was originally published. And this essay you are discussing with Xaarplaya that is 28 pages long.

Every article I come across from Jstor talks bout sub clans of Majerteen or Ogaden and even the dhulbahante. Ogaden however are mentioned as sub sub sub sub sub clans
Which goes to show that they are much larger then the idoor bunch by themselves
The article (28 page one) I got from the University I attend. I just search thew Jstor which I can't presently do from home but from University I can. Weird eh?
"Journey Through the Somali Country to the Webbe Shebeyli, by F. L. James
Proceedings of the Royal Geographical Society and Monthly Record of Geography © 1885 "
Contrary to Xaarplaya thinking it focuses on maxamed Zubeyr it does not. It goes off on a tangent about the Adone which I believe them to be the arlaadi aka D&M clans of bay and bakool who cradle the Webi shabelle which is the purpose of the article. Also goes aand talks bout the Hate for hawiyes by the adone who are partly "NEGRO IN FEATURE" which is the case for the Digil and Mirifle today who are half somali half jareer looking people.
Etc
As to the Diagram of the map which one are you talking bout?
