President Abdullahi Yusuf is doing the right thing!

Post by THE ELEMENT »

Yes, President Abdullahi Yusuf is doing the right thing by staying above the current tribalist political quagmire. He is also right to maintain his serious statesmanÂ’s image and work diligently for the collective interest of the Somali people without getting to the nitty-gritty daily squabbles with the warlords. Having said that, his plan still stands...

...Which is to occupy southern Somalia and later northern Somalia inch by inch, which means Abdullahi Yusuf and his supporters will be seeing to that, while the international community (US, IGAD, etc.) will contribute money, manpower, military hardware and diplomatic support.

In that meantime, however, he'll continue to work behind close doors toward his plan by:

1- Extracting as much revenues as he could from his supporters

2- Garnering as much international military, financial and diplomatic supports as he could master in order to realize this very plan

3- Showing the international community that he is a victim who is dealing with unruly challengers, that need a firm and stern hands to met them out mercilessness

4- Presenting the capital as a heaven of internationally organized crime heavens and religious fanatics that needs international military intervention on behalf of the TFG

5- Acquireing international publicity, After all he is a strong man who can bring peace and stability throughout Somalia if and when he gets the international support of military, financial, diplomacy and recognition.

6- Winning over the heart and mind of the regional countries who have been trying lucklessly to intervene militarily in Somalia on behalf of his government

His already gotten the United Nations sympathetic ears and finally convinced them to lift the army embargoes that have been imposed on Somalia throughout its period of civil war and instabilities...the rest will follow in due time INSHA ALLAH!

Ee...as the saying goes “Don't hate the player, hate the game.”

Are you living in the real world Mr ailment? Because I fear you may be lost in the clouds.

FACT 1: Time is running out for the traitor. He wonÂ’t be able to keep Baidoa let alone occupy southern Somalia.

FACT 2: The people of Southern Somalia are united in their hatred for Yusuf and Ghedi and no government can impose it's will on the Somali peopleÂ… It has never happened before and it will not happen now.

FACT 3: Somalis got rid of Siyaad Barre who was much more popular than the bacaac traitor you support. He can have as much gaal support as he can master but he will never be Somali president.

Element,

The very first thing that really disapointed me in A.Yusuf is that he didnt try hard enough to win the hearts and minds of somali public...he focused too much on the warlords..

Now I understand that he hardly had large audience to give him a chance and most of the Hwiye populace were behind their warlords...and now Ironically are behind other warmongers who are calling themselves ICU...but I believe he could have done better.. Better late than never for his own legacy though.

Eyes

I feel that your speaking for yourself and not for the ppl of southern somalia...because you hated A. Yusuf's guts the moment he was chosen...he never had any chance to prrof or do anything...
So plz spare yourself from any embarassement and name calling (not by me of course..lol) and say the way it is..you support the ICU out of qabil even if you are certain that they are using the Islamic banner in a false way.

Cawar, believe me President C/laahi tried winning the heart and minds of all Somali people regardless of their “qabiil” from the get-go, but as we all remember the warlords who than had the full support of their respective “qabiil” stood in his way and what does he do? Your damn right! He focused on them more than anything else. Why? Because he wanted them out of the way, but before he could even do that a new entity emerges, who by the way are damn good at telling the lazy to hate the motivated; in this case the lazy being those Somalis who have so far chosen to remind blindfolded from the truth and the motivated being those at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Indeed, the ICU has the support of the Mogadishu people now, but I doubt it will last that long once they open their eyes and see them for who they really are, a Trojan horse for al-Qaeda if not one with a “qabiil” agenda, which is even worse if you ask me.

eyes-only, I believe Cawar summed up all that I needed to say...ee...you might wana re-read that and start living in the real world, cause fools like you who are aware of the ICU real agenda but agree with it anyways for some obvious reasons are holding the rest of us "Somalis!" from investing in our beloved country.
