JELLY PRINCIPLES?

Post by Galol »

Do you have a set of principles that are inviolable and unshakeable under all circumstances? They could be moral, ethical, Intellectual, political or a combination of some or all.

And have there been any circumstances where some of those have been shaken by events?

PS: Morons stay away. When you are dumb you know you are dumb. So stay away

One of the most important things to me is to always be financially independent, I actually get anxious when I think of the possibility of depending on others, I also try to be fair at all times but sometimes my attempt at objectivity is swallowed by the endless voracity of some.

Freedom of Expression (Whether it's favourable or unfavourable to me)

Being truthful to your self. Not lying. I may do a lot of wrong things. But I certainly am no liar.

Gurey

"Freedom of expression, thought belief. "

Does that include incitement to hatred?
Lets say a KKK guy says: kill all the Blacks!

Gurey, even if that was in Somalia or an African nation, you would still moderate such a behavoir as opposed to extinguishing it altogether?

Why would the incitment of hatred and/or harm to others, be considered a form of free speech?

Freedom of expression and justice. I hate to see unjust and oppressions. And the sanctity of human lives, I believe nobody has the right to take anyone's else life.

Amat, why would there be an issue of Political correctness in a country of a homogenous citizens? Ok let me ask you this then; should the concept of freedom of speech mean the same thing from nation to nation? for example should Japan abide by the same freedom of speech parameters devised by a country like USA or UK who house a host of different races and nationalities?
