It seems like Geedi is the TFG President.

Because we only hear Geedi making declarations, statements, giving briefings.

Where is A/Y?

GedoBoy: Man, u are the smartest Darood here. Geedi is the one who is in charge and he hates Abdulahi Yusuf. Unfortunately, a lot of kids here beat the drum thinking that C/Y is in charge and this is a chance for Darood glory.

When the time comes, Geedi will remove C/Y. C/Y is more likely to strike a deal with the UIC than Geedi will. The secret deal the UIC & C/Y made a few months ago was to remove Geedi in a vote of no confidence and replace him with a pro UIC candidate

Constitutionally speaking, of course the PM is the one who implements policy and should naturally be front and centre.

Cabdulaahi Yuusuf should never be underestimated but Geeddi is indeed powerful. And his power has been rising ever since the time CY tried to dethrone him by getting CY loyalist ministers to resign en masse. But Geeddi survived by some nimble political maneuvering and his star has been on the rise.

And he has proved to be a fast political learner. No more rhetorical missteps. No more falling into ingeniously baited verbal traps set by Yuusuf Garaad and BBC(Beenta Beesha Cayr).

Ultimately, as I always tell my Hawiye friends who fear ABdullahi Yusuf will try to create a Darood centered government, the days of 1 qabiil dominance are over. No qabiil is willing to take crap from another. Somalis are well armed and certain qabiils have now tasted power i.e. HAwiye & Eelay and will never allow to be treated like second class citizens

Geedi is a Pm and with PM duties he runs the Gov't. Thats that. Abdullahi yusuf is still the commander and chief though.
