Doesn't the ICU have antiaircraft missiles?

Post by Niya »

They need to down one or 2 airplanes to level the playing fields, otherwise come negotiating time, they will be negotiating from a weak postions and accommodating the warlords. They need to do something even if it is symbolic.

what does it matter to you the position of the UIC? your not even fighting your own war; instead your chearleading for lice-infested xabasho waiting to clear the ground for you.

They are cowards," said Sheik Mohamoud Ibrahim Suley, an official with Somalia's Council of Islamic Courts. "They are afraid of the face-to-face war and resorted to airstrikes. I hope God will help us shoot down their planes

The UIC is more experienced (shabbaz fighters) and braver on the GROUND but the habash are dangerous in the air thats the only thing they good at

Biko, I want the moderate members of the ICU to be major players in the next Somali government, the only way the ICu can be significant (now that they squandered the levarage they had after kacdoonka shacabka) is to be show that they are a force to be reckoned with, by inflicting maximum damage, even if it is for one time.

Biko, don' you get? The ICU needs to do something even if it is symbolic, for it to be relevant in the near future. They provoked Ethiopia with jihad, they need to deliver.

i like the way you shift the blame from CY for selling his soul to meles zenawi. whats taking place has nothing to do with the ICU declaring jihad on ethiopia,, but rather your uncl selling somalia for a dream that could and should never be allowed to realise.

Biko, walaahi you made me laugh.
Listen, we can't go in circles rehashing the same arguments. The TFG is not only A/Y, buy a cross section of Somali clans that were elected after 2 years of wrangling, whatever it is, it will only serve the time allocated, and after that Somalis will agree on another government. My point is, the ICU squandered it initial popularity by aggressively attacking peaceful regions. Now , to stay relevant, they need to show they are a force to be reckoned with. That all I am saying, so stop twisting my words, and if you don't trust what I am saying no problem.

Hey-loser, the ICU could have consolidated power across Somalia by not engaging in aggressive tactics, but the extremist within would not listen to the moderate voices in the ICU.

War iyo dhamantiis, they need to show they are still relevant before the next peace conference.

Laughing

thats why i said it could make them dangerous if we dont got a anti-air missles ore a warplanes to defend our motherland. in 1977 habaashiis had a warplane but that of us was a better model.
