"Anti-Ethiopia riots erupted in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, on Friday, while masked gunmen emerged for the first time on the streets, a day after Ethiopian-backed troops captured the city from Islamist forces.
Hundreds of Somalis flooded into bullet-pocked boulevards to hurl rocks at the Ethiopian soldiers, set tires on fire and shout anti-Ethiopian slogans.
“Get out of our country!” they yelled. “We hate you, Ethiopians!”
In northern Mogadishu, residents said men with scarves over their faces and assault rifles in their hands lurked on the street corners. Mogadishu has plenty of gunmen, of every age and every clan, but gunmen hiding their identity is something new and may be a sign of a developing insurgency.
“We’re going to turn this place into another Iraq,” said Abdullahi Hashi, a construction worker who said he was part of a new underground movement to fight the Ethiopians."
Will Somalia be new Iraq? I certainly hope so with all my heart. Another civil war is better than peace (=slavery) under the rule of xabashi and their prostitutes.
Today one cadaan dude said to me that he thought somalis were proud people because here where I live they always get into trouble because they don't bow down to anyone and always try to have their own way. So he asked me how is it possible that they threw themselves under ethiopian feet kissing those lice infested toes? I hope he will soon see from news something that will change his mind again.
Will Somalia be new Ciraaq?

Islamists vow a rebellious war as Ethiopian troops head to Kismayu
Aweys Osman Yusuf
Mogadishu 30, Dec.06 ( Sh.M.Network) -The chairman of the Union of Islamic Courts, who along with other senior officials in the port city of Kismayu about 500 km (310 miles) south of Mogadishu, has urged Islamist supporters in Mogadishu and else where in the country to initiate an insurgency and a guerrilla war against the Ethiopian troops backing the Somali transitional government in the country.
Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed has issued the statement during a speech he was delivering to residents in Kismayu after the Muslim Eid prayers on Saturday. “I call on the Islamic Courts fighters, supporters and every true Muslim to start an insurgency against the Ethiopian troops in Somalia. We are telling the Ethiopians in Somalia that they will never succeed in their mission. By Allah, they will fail”, he said.
He said, “We will not allow the Ethiopian troops to stay peacefully in Somalia”.
The Islamic Courts officials are now based in the port city of Kismayu after they were defeated by the Ethiopian troops backing the interim government forces that are in control of most SomaliaÂ’s central and southern provinces, including the capital.
The remarks of the ICU chairman came as the US government was urging the transitional government to be engaged in dialog with the Islamic Courts.
Hundreds of Ethiopian troops along with the government forces have gone to Lower Shabelle provinces previously administered by the Islamic Courts. “Ethiopian and government forces have come to Bulo Marer and they headed to Baravo, (100 km south of the capital Mogadishu)”, Shabelle reporter Hussein Nor Gesey said.
Gesey said the heavily armed Ethiopian troops, along with the government forces were going to Kismayu in Lower Jubba province, southern Somalia.
The government says it wants to be in firm grip of all Somalia, stating it forgave those who supported and fought for Islamists. The Somali people, who have been without central government for sixteen years now ask themselves if the government that is dependent on Ethiopia militarily will be able to govern Somalia.
President Abdulahi Yusuf said on Friday that the government will impose a state of emergency on the country for three months so the government will be able to confiscate all arms that are in the hands of civilians, tribal militias and business firms.
Somalia has been without an affective central authority for the past sixteen years after warlords toppled former president Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991.
No it will not. Mogdishu may become like Iraq(Bagdad) but the rest of the country will not. Mogdishu is the home of the savages and it was always as focked up as Iraq.
If that happens then it only shows me that outside Mogadishu people are cowards without any islamic pride. What kind of person would accept christian occupier whose only goal is to prevent a birth of islamic country?
And this is a fact, ethiopians said it themselves. Helping secular TFG comes along the way because now they owe everything to xabashi and will always bend over for them when Meles needs something. So that makes Meles the real president of Somalia.
