“Why Somalia had no gov't for the last 17 yrs”

Why? Because of people like Biko who canÂ’t seem to let go of the past and who are willing to blur every little light at the end of the tunnel so that their little enclave Waqooyi Galbeed could stand to gain from the plight of the masses in the south of the country, this is one side.

...The other, however, is our former warlord supporters who are now hell-bent on supporting the ICU which is lead by none other than former warlords like Indha-Cadde and Co. because they too canÂ’t seem to let go of the past. Surely, one think that unites them all is the idea of the Ethiopian intervention (the other being the lifting of the UN Arm embargo) since this idea never crossed their mind, but than again their the oneÂ’s that declared Jihad on Ethiopia which was stupid of them, nevertheless, this aided the TFG because without the Ethiopian intervention to counterbalance the foreign support the radical Islamists were receiving I doubt the TFG would have been as successful as it is today.

Either way their f@cket now since we have a legitimated government on our hand that is willing to ride this foreign US financed force till it commands the power it needs to lead this leaderless nation...As for me though, I wouldnÂ’t have liked it any other way, Insha Allah this government will work for it looks promising already.

Karbaash_killa, Amiirka Somalia Sheikh Shariif is undoubtedly a great man a great Sheikh for that matter and I still urge the TFG to safe him but rid us of the likes of Indha-cadde and Co. thatÂ’s all walaal.

...Am sure Somalia has suffered a lot and enough is enough somalia

Somalia is not a failed state. It was a failed state (barre's government) but not anymore. THis so called failed Somali state sees it's inhabitants enjoying greater personal freedom, healthcare services, education, economic oppurtunities (and equality) than many 3rd world nations considered "stable" and having "functioning government". What gives?
