Consult with Warsangeli, the brain behind the success of TFG

Post by Ducaale004 »

Most of you aren't aware of it, but TFG's success was outlined by Warsangeli, the most sophisticated and wealthiest clan of all Somalia. Prior to the establishment of Puntland, both Abdullahi Yusuf and Gabyow experienced their first humiliation at the reconciliation conference in Cairo, where they were told who do they represent. Our country was divided into sub-lineage, sub-national denominations. Since Mogadisho and Hargeisa were the cause celebre of Somalia's politics, Daarod politicians had lost enough political weight to counter the influence of leaders who hail from these two cities. Disappointed, Abdullahi knocked the door of the Somalia's Charge de Affairs, Dr. Fatun Mohamoud, a Warsangeli woman who had held this post for 15 years. Abdullahi had asked for a way out of this and a lending hand for economic and strategic assistance over the conflicting forces. Dr. Fatun in collaboration with her husband, a former UNDP president himself, convened and discussed in a matter of urgency and priority the formation of effective and representative formal authority. This was the birth of Puntland, whose first phase of development first began in 1994 up to its completion, 1998.

The success of Puntland was followed by the formation of SSRC and then his election to TFG's president, a campaign heavily funded and supported by Ethiopia. Professor Geedi has a long standing connection to Mela Zenawi but his influence and popularity into the Prime Minister of Somalia came on Abdullahi's coattails.

That's what happens when we're forced to share a common nationality with these people.
