TFG better negotiate with the UIC as per the US Assistant Undersecretary for Africa, Ms. Fraizer.
If the TFG fails to do so, it will lose the backing of the USA who also controls Zenawi.
What does the TFG have to lose ?

Who is left in the UIC to negotiate with?
If there are 'moderate' UIC that exist, I definitely urge the TFG to negotiate. The sooner an agreement can be made, the sooner the Ethios get out of Somalia.

Negotiate with the moderates.
Failure to negotiate will cause the TFG to lose the US backing which could then go else where

All of the UIC except for
Sh. Xassan Dahir Aweys ----- a suspected al-Qaeda supporter under investigation
Sh. Xassan Turki ------------a suspected al-Qaeda member who fought in Afghanistan
Adan Ceyrow -------- a suspected al-Qaeda member who fought in Afghanistan
I think there are a couple more. All of them are under investigation after the Ethiopians submitted false allegations against them. There were others who got arrested for similar allegations for business disputes and revenge but they got released after nothing was found on them. One was just an imam of a local mosque and he was arrested and sold to the Americans by a warlord and the Americans knew he was innocent but only took him so as to encourage the warlords to capture more people in return for a fee.

hOW DO you expect negotiations while Ethio kafir troops are in the country?

^^^ First you say: "How can the UIC negotiate w/ an Ethiopian-backed Govt"
Now, you say: "How can we negotiate when Ethiopian troops are in the country."
Don't you see that this extremist view is what got you in this mess in the first place?
Negotiate while you're ahead.......You should have met the TFG halfway, that way there would be no excuse to have the Ethiopians here w/ the Blessing of the US to begin with.

This is what got the ICU in trouble to begin with.........this SEVERE madax adeeg...........
Any human being, especially the supposed leaders of a country the ICU were claiming to be should understand how to negotiate for the benefit of the country.
Allah is not against that. Allah is for that.

May allah punish those muslims who reject Sharia in their own Country.
The whole problem is to do with the Constitution, Even TFG don't agree with their own Constition which states that Islamic law should be implemented. How can you negotiate with these ppl

Not half of Quran.......get that rigid mentality out of your mind.
Let's take your example that the TFG was against Sharia. If the ICU said: "All we want is to administer Islamic Sharia WITHIN the country"......the TFG would probably have said OK and made the ICU the National Religious Authority.
At least there could have some sort of Sharia within the country.........
Now what do we have? A bunch of young sincere men died and most of the leadership fled.
Where was the benefit in that?
