This guy is very rude to me........kind of like in his 40s I guess.
At first I thought I was being discriminated because of my Qabiil. He doesn't know my tribe, except I have been sending money to Beled Xaawo, Baardheere, Garbahaarey............so I am thinking he has an idea

I don't have to mention that my Somali is not perfect, on top of that I am not familiar with his accent and choice of words sometimes.........so I have to concentrate and read his lips. I think this adds to his frustration.
Anyways, one day I made a mistake on the list of amounts and who I was sending to. He started yelling at me and telling me that I do this EVERYTIME to him. I became angry, but I still remain patient because he's an older man he could be like my dad or Adeer.
BTW, I always call him Adeer and I greet him, but HE'S ALL BUSINESS. I'm like "Salam Caleykum, Adeer ii waran?"
and he's like: "Telefonkaada isii"
Anyways, the other day I had to come early, like 10 am, and I saw him standing outside.........it looked as if he was locked outside, like he was waiting on something.
Anyways, I ask him: "Adeer ma xirantihiin?..."
and he's like (in a straight face): "We're JUST Opening, how can we be closing?"
I have even been trying to modify my accent and word usage so I could 'fit in' by using words like "imikaan" instead of "aminkaan" and "asagu" instead of "asaga".............but I do not seem to be doing a good job.
Are Isaaq people generally more conservative or reserved, or is it just him?
