WAS IT WORTH IT?
The other day I was speaking with friends from Iraq and they were saying that although Saddam was a ruthless dictator, at least life was much better than it is today in Iraq, and they argued that, they would have preferred that Saddam was still in power than cope with the current situation. So it got me thinking, itÂ’s been 16 years since the fall of the Somali government. Ever since then, the country had known nothing but chaos, lawlessness, war, starvation, etc. Many people have died over the years and continue to die today; there is still no end in sight. So, was it worth it to oust Barre from power?

Maybe not worth it after all, the guy would have died whenever he died and I dont think his son would have become, as some here claim, the successor
However, what makes you think that there is no end in sight??
We have a government and its flying baby...yes you can dream and go back to Shangaani or Barawe again..
