I agree, operation cleanhouse similar to the one conducted in Sanaag in the early 1990s was not a bad option at the time, we got busy among ourselves in the Hbar Vs Hber wars and forgot about the Dooro elephant in the room. Back then it was much easier to truck them all to Boosaaso, Garowe and Galkacyo so they can be with their Harti brothers

Somalilanders can fight no doubt about it, it is just that we exhaust all other options such as peaceful meanings before we have to go to war, unlike Hutu nation who killed many Daarood in the early 1990s we did not take revange on the poor Daarood amongst us out of civiliazation, something the Hutu lack.
