Do You Think Politically As Your Parents?

Post by Nabeela »

I think naturally we pick up our political beliefs from our parents. No doubt their views have influence on us to a certain degree. There are parents who are either with the TFG or the ICU and sadly pass it on to their kids, markaa did that happen to you, where your parents passed there political views off on you, and do you share the same political out look as them, or are you different in your views on issues?

well, as far as the current situation is somalia is concerned i dont share the same views as my parent. as an adult and having spend half my life in the west i think we tend to see things from two different windows; not everything political but some.

but if we are talking about the past history and that of siade's time and before, then the influence might be greater than the recent somali saga.

Bliss maya. Believe it or not my dad is an ICU supporter.

Anyhow I asked this because, I have a family member who will not talk to you for days if you don't share his views on things, and as far as he is concerned you are a traitor. He has a tendency to deny facts even when it's rubbed in his face time and again and so obvious that a blind man could see it in the dark.

What is "Xaq" to you may not be necessary a Xaq to someone else. It all depends on how you see things.

Injir infested pigs in our soil----unxaq

A warlord president----unxaq

Innocent people dying everyday--unxaq.

The Ultimate "unxaq", waa when a Somali "president" went to an extent of inviting the army of our arch enemy into our country in order to protect himself from his own people.

Shall I go on.
