its funny you said that. couple of nights a go i was watching al jazera about debate on iraq and the civil war. on the panel was this american guy who was bush's ex adviser and bluntly told an Iraqi...that the gloves are coming off and they will be destroyed if they dont behave. because the Iraqi wasnt buying all that talk about a looming civil war but rather belive it all to be an american tactic to divide the nation into suni and shiat. the iraqi guy blamed most of the bombing in the city on americans and especialy those on mosques.

but the comment of the american just like those you make in this pages are the perfect recruiting tools for future jihadist.

Perhaps it is. But the jihadists had better understand, as this conflict escalates, as it becomes a war between Islam and the West, Islam is going to lose and lose big. How far can you escalate? And the tone isn't a threat. I am simply articulating the reality. You know, we did not draw first blood in this fight. If it weren't for 9-11, we would not have large military forces in the gulf at all. But there has been a constellation building in the middle east for a long time now that is centered around resentment of American and western power and influence. And constantly all you hear about is jihad this and jihad that. And then, when you get the consequences of this jihad mentality, you whine about it. You whine about the poor Palestinians. You whine about the poor Afghans. You whine about the poor Iraqis. You whine about the poor Somalis. B!tch, b!tch, b!tch. Well, if your so happy to see all your people die and go to Allah, why are you whining about it?

9-11 adds up just fine. All the doubters and plotters just can't deal with the truth.

Eons ago, there was a lot more of the doubting, conspiracy nonesense. But most of that has faded away and been replaced with justification for why it was OK.

Anyone who has worked with the agency (that wouldn't be you would it?) knows that three men can keep a secret, if two of them are dead. To put together a conspiracy the size of 9-11, and then to keep it secret, would be impossible.

I have heard so much nonsense on this.

One idiot professor claimed that that fire could not have weakened the beams (many of which, of course, had already been smashed when the planes hit). Nonesense. His fallacious argument was countered early and quickly by almost everyone in the academic community. But once he said it, it had legs.

Another idiot claimed it was a controlled demolition. It would have taken months to rig those buildings. And how would you get the aircraft to impact right at the post where the "explosions" took place without detonating them in the first place? How could you prepare a demolition without anyone noticing.

Then there was the "None of the Jews were there that day". Completely made up story, and plenty of Jews were hurt or lost their lives in the attack.

You guys never tire of this conspiratorial crap. There were phone calls made by the passengers for Christs Sakes!

This was not a government conspiracy, nor has the US benefitted from it.
